Amy Jean Frasier-Wallace

Amy J. Frasier Wallace, age 40, of Minneapolis, Minnesota, formerly of Rhinelander, Wisconsin, passed away on Monday, October 22, 2018. She died at home, surrounded by her loving family. A devoted mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend, Amy was also a dedicated business analyst and avid runner. Amy was born on January 6, 1978. She graduated from the Rhinelander High School in 1996. She received her bachelor's degree from the University of Minnesota and a master of business administration degree from the University's Carlson School of Management in Minneapolis. She had been employed by the Dorsey & Whitney Law Firm, also in Minneapolis. She married James Wallace on March 17, 2012 in Rhinelander and they were blessed with three beautiful children. Amy is survived by her husband James M. Wallace; their children Macy, Riley, and Evan; her parents Larry and Nancy (Larson) Frasier; her siblings Emily (Tino) Starke, Michael (Meghan) Frasier, and Kelly Frasier; her father- and mother-in-law James A. and Susan (Stobbe) Wallace; her nieces and nephews Chloe Starke, Ira Starke, Grayson Frasier, Cooper Frasier, Megan Wallace, Taylor Wallace, Sophia Wallace, and Addysen Wallace; and other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents. Those close to Amy knew well that she was genuine, fiercely compassionate, and a loyal and supportive friend in good times and bad. She believed in living life with honesty, kindness, and gratitude. She was quick to compliment. She loved to uplift and to laugh, easily and often. She savored the time with her children and took great joy in life's simple, ordinary moments with family, friends, and colleagues. She loved life and was thankful for every minute of it. It is in this spirit of joy and appreciation that Amy's family welcomes all to join in a celebration of Amy's life this weekend. Visitation for Amy will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2018, from 10:00am to 1:00pm at the Carlson Funeral Home in Rhinelander. This will include a time for sharing thoughts and stories in Amy's honor at 12:30pm-1:00pm. You may leave your private condolences at www.carlsonfh.com. Amy's husband is also inviting those who knew and loved Amy to write handwritten notes about who Amy was, to be shared with their children when they are older. Please bring the letters to the service or mail them to the Carlson Funeral Home, where they will be collected and forwarded to Mr. Wallace.
