Barry Pate Sr., born January 23rd, 1958, was called home the morning of November 7th, 2016. Barry attended North County Technical High School in St. Louis, MO and later went on to St. Louis Job Corps where he was able to receive training in the roofing profession. He began as an apprentice and retired as a journeyman. He received a baseball coaching award from the Mayor of Minneapolis from North Commons Park District. He and his wife Brenda Lee Pate married in 1989 and went on to raise three children; Barry Jr., Tabatha Renea William Hughes and Audreau Rose Michael Conley. Barry was a grandfather to three grandsons; Latrell Pate, Isaiah Pate and Baron Martin. He is preceded in death by his sister Rochelle "Shelly" Arnold, and his father Euel Pate Jr. Barry is survived by his wife, children, mother Gloria McNulty, and siblings Rosalind Pate, Michelle Martin, Euel Pate lll, Mark Pate, Michael Hanks, Michael Martin and Eric Pate. He will be missed by his many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. He was a wonderful husband, amazing father, a patient coach and incredibly kind and generous man. Barry leaves behind a great void in the hearts of his family and friends and will be forever loved and missed.
