Betty R. Farnham

Farnham, Betty Age 91 of Fridley, Passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2020. Survived by husband, Larry of 52 years; daughters, Debra Farnham, Rox Ann Swan, Kerry (Robin) Eichten and Carol Bruggers; sister, Carol (Ben) Heyda of Waverly, Minnesota; brother, Dale Miller of Paynesville, Minnesota; and her mini schnauzers, Cocoa and Lacy. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Bertha; sister, June Gomer; and brother, Charles Jr. Betty grew up in Litchfield, MN. Graduated from the U of M Mankato campus, and taught in the Minnesota school system for 35 years. She was a member of the following organizations: Minnesota Territorial Pioneers, REAM, University Raptor Center and the Guide Dog Foundation. Betty also volunteered at the "Foundation of the Blind" for 20 years transcribing Children's books. Due to the pandemic, a Celebration of Life for Betty will be held in 2021. Memorials to the Animal Humane Society.
