Ernest Richard Poston

Poston, Ernest R. age 90, of New Brighton, MN passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on March 28, 2014. Preceded in death by his beautiful bride of 44 years, Betty. Survived by his sister, Ruth Warnock of Elma, NY, sons Richard, Todd, and Mark Janet, and daughter Sheila; grandchildren Jackie Erik, Christopher Jenny, Erin, Silas, Laurel, and Amanda; great-grandchildren Willis, Andrew, and Ruby. Ernest served in the Navy during WWII and then went on to complete his education in aeronautical and aerospace engineering at the University of Minnesota. Ernest worked for Honeywell for 37 years. A memorial service and gathering will be held on May 3, 2014, from 11:30 AM until 1:30 PM, at Miller Funeral Home, 6210 Hwy 65 NE, Fridley, MN 55432 763-571-1300.
