Hali Chiodo, loving mom, grandma, sister, aunt, and friend passed away peacefully at the age on 68 on March 19, 2021. Hali was born on February 26, 1953 in Reedsburg, Wisconsin to the late Peter and Emma Hubin. She grew up in Columbia Heights, Minnesota, where she lived most of her life and raised her family. She is preceded in death by her sister Anneliese, infant daughter Wendy and infant granddaughter, Alexa. She is survived by her children, Sheila (Scott), Monica (Broch) and Scott (Tammy), four cherished granddaughters, Antonia, Caitlin, Addison, Emma and special friend, Dave Thompson. She is also survived by sister Erika and brothers Eckhard, Peter and Hubert, nieces, nephews, and friends. Hali worked at TCF Bank for 30 years until she retired in November 2016. She held various positions in TCF Branches, ATM Operations, and Information Technology where she made day to day contributions to customers and colleagues. She loved taking care of her family, friends, neighborhood kids and colleagues. Hali was a tiny lady with an enormous heart and a spitfire personality that will always be remembered. Hali enjoyed being in the sunshine, going to the beach, gardening, singing karaoke, dancing, watching Vikings games and most of all, cooking and serving others. She was the happiest when she was working and volunteering to support our veterans. She was a proud member of the Palmer Lake VFW Auxiliary where she formed countless unforgettable relationships with others. She loved to have a good time and was always the life of the party. Her loss leaves an emptiness that will never be filled, but the memories will be in our hearts forever. A celebration of Hali's Life will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2021 from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Choice Cremation - 7398 University Ave. NE, Fridley (763) 571-5030. Masks are required
