Leo Paz of Anoka, Minnesota passed away June 14 of 2021. Leo was born in New York, New York in October of 1938 to Leopold and Blanca Paz. Shortly thereafter, Leo met and married Nikki Guzman, his wife of many years. Leo was known to everyone as a kind and caring man. He would volunteer on missions with his wife, assist in charity work with the elderly, and always made time to feed the many wild animals around his home. Leo also loved to travel. Though he had been all over the world, he felt most at home in his cabin on Lake Ham where he could often be found fishing. Leo is survived by his wife, Nikki; his children Dennis (Sue), Diane Lee (Chris Wallace), and Bryan; his grandchildren Tabby, Cassie, Tara (Gannett), Josh, Sean, and Abby; and by nine great-grandchildren. He is additionally survived by his brother, Caesar. Leo was preceded in death by his father, Leo Paz Brecia; his mother, Blanca Rosa Urbistando; his grandson, Dennis Rory Jr.; and his cheerfully rotund dog, Lobo. His family has requested that flowers not be sent in Leo's memory.
