Linda Leight

Leight, Linda, age 64 of New Brighton, passed away peacefully surrounded by family in Fort Myers, FL, on April 2, 2017. She ended her 3 year battle with ALS with the same smile she will always be remembered for. She touched the hearts of everyone she met with her unconditional love. Linda ran the kitchen at Pinewood Elementary for over 20 years. She enjoyed spending time at the family cabin, "Leight's Landing" on Red Cedar Lake in Wisconsin. Linda was like a Mom to all who knew and loved her and her grandchildren were the light of her life. She will be deeply missed by her husband of 44 years, Jerry; parents, William and Bonnie Boutelle; children, Jason Terra, Jamie Nicholas Jasper, Justin Liz; grandchildren, Zachary, Lindsey, Allyson, Samuel, Alani, Linnea, Michael, Corrah Jenna Hintz; siblings, Mary Bob Clark, Mike Peggy Boutelle, Stephanie Mark Waite, Don Lisa Boutelle, Becky Mark Dito DeLong; godmother, Mary Lou Bolton; nieces and nephews; and other loving relatives and friends. Special thanks to Mayo-ALS Clinic, MN ALS Association and the ICU staff at Health Park Hospital in Fort Myers. Memorial service 2PM on Tues, April 18, 2017 with visitation one hour prior at Eagle Brook Church, 3603 95th Ave NE, Blaine. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the family.
