Mark Steven Brown

Mark Brown, 66, beloved brother, father, grandfather and uncle passed away peacefully to be with the Lord on July 26, 2024 after battling advanced heart failure for a number of years. Mark was born in Minneapolis, Mn to his parents, Kenneth Eugene and Betty Rae (Bender) Brown both of whom preceded him in death. Mark was also preceded in death by his sister, Deborah Burt and brothers-in-laws Arnold J. Hashman, Darel Burt, and Peter Franzky. Mark felt so blessed to be a father and grandfather, and although he struggled at times, both of these roles fulfilled his life dreams and made him so happy. Mark was a hardworking, simple man who loved hunting, fishing and just being out in nature. He will be dearly missed by his two sons, Nathan (Mike) Janaszak and Trenton (Priscilla) Brown; grandchildren Mackenzie, Elijah and Briella Brown; siblings Gail (Chuck) Ledoux, Lois Franzky, Mike (Linda) Brown, Mary Hashman; Diane (Joe) DeBoe and many nieces and nephews.

Mark’s ashes will be spread on his dad’s hunting land sometime this fall during a private, family celebration of life. Memorial donations may be made in Mark’s name to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
