Reginald Leroy Pope

Reginald LeRoy Pope, 69, of St. Paul, passed away June 24, 2018 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul.  Reginald was born March 23, 1949 in Chicago to Reginald Pope and Clara Bell Higgins.  He grew up and graduated from LC Moore High School in South Haven, Michigan in 1967.  He worked for the Steel Mills in South Haven for 20 years when he moved to Benton Harbour, Michigan where he was a mechanic for 10 years.  Reginald then moved to St. Paul where he was a janitor at the Mall Of America where he retired because of ill health about 15 years ago. Reginald is survived by his daughter Shermeka Gordon; one sister Connie Yeldell; one brother Nelson Kendrick; several nieces and nephews. Reginald was preceded in death by his son Reginald LeRoy Pope Jr.; his parents Regionald and Clara Bell; two sisters, Vanila Pope and Marcia Pope, one brother William Pope Peace be to his memory
