Richard "Galen" Berg

Richard Galen Berg, lovingly known as Bergie, passed away on January 1, 2017. Bergie was very proud of his service in the Naval Reserve and enjoyed spending time helping his fellow veterans. He was an avid outdoorsman, liked walks in the woods, fishing, and loved animals, especially dogs. Bergie was a father to 3 children; Christina, Jonathan and Angela. He is also survived by his two sisters Kathy Platzer and Diane Bergstrom. There's no one quite like Bergie. He will be missed by us all. Bergie will be laid to rest at Fort Snelling National Cemetery on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at 10:45AM Lane 2. Please arrive 15 minutes early.
