Steven Joel Cook

COOK, Steven Joel, was born on the 16th of September, 1944. He graduated Anoka High School in 1962. He spent several months at Indiana University studying the Russian language. The next two years, he served in the Air Force Intelligence division listening to the Russians and translating into English. In 1967 he married Monika Reichelt. In 1970 they moved back to Germany. Steven worked as a jet mechanic for the worlds safest airline, Lufthansa. Steven and Monika leave one daughter, Vanessa. She is "the best daughter anybody could have" and he was proud of her as she advanced through her studies at Brooklyn College and becoming a Music Teacher at a High School in New York City. A Celebration of Steven's Life will be held 1pm Thursday, December 9th at Cross of Glory Lutheran Church, Mounds View with fellowship to follow the service.
